Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth typed into one of the search tools on this site travels directly to the third-party provider operating that search. The provider processes the query and returns the results. Nothing you type into those boxes is stored or logged on our side.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us is retained so that we can reply to it. Messages stay inside our team, and we do not pass them to anyone outside our organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers record a handful of technical details each time a page on this site is loaded:
- Timestamps for every page view
- The site that referred you here, where there is one
- Which pages you opened and how long you stayed on each
- Your device type and operating system
- The browser you used and its version
- The IP address assigned to your device
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on your device, and this site uses them to understand how visitors move through the pages, which sections draw traffic, and where people leave. Analytics services help aggregate that picture. Blocking cookies is entirely within your browser settings, though some parts of the site may behave differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Diagnosing and repairing technical faults
- Passing search requests to the correct partner service
- Keeping the site online, stable, and quick to load
- Working out which Clay County warrant pages readers find useful and which need improvement
- Displaying advertising that may match your interests
No Warrant Data on File
No database of warrants or personal warrant-record information is hosted, compiled, maintained, or sold here. What this site publishes is general guidance about where Clay County warrant records are held and how to reach them, through the Clay County Sheriff's Office warrant page, the Circuit Clerk, Justice Court, and West Point Municipal Court. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing gathered about visitors is ever assembled into a consumer report or a file about a third party.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site are operated by outside companies. Whatever you enter into one of them is handled under that partner's privacy policy rather than this one, and each partner sets its own retention and sharing practices, which we do not control. Read the partner's policy before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
This site links out to Mississippi court pages, the Clay County Sheriff's Office, state agencies, federal courts, and third-party search tools. Following any of those links takes you off our site, at which point the destination's own privacy policy applies. Read it before sharing personal details there.
Some advertising partners may follow activity across websites in order to serve targeted ads. That tracking happens on their systems, not on ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Some information may nonetheless reach:
- Government bodies or law enforcement, where a valid legal order requires it
- Advertising networks placing ads on our pages
- Analytics services measuring traffic and performance
- Search partners handling queries run on this site
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security practices are applied to the data we hold. No system connected to the internet is ever completely safe, so while we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us data, contact us and it will be deleted promptly.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, consumer-protection and privacy law may grant you further rights over your information. Mississippi's own transparency framework, the Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code §§ 25-61-1 et seq., governs access to records held by public bodies such as the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Circuit Clerk rather than to data held by a private website. As a minimum, you may:
- Opt out of certain forms of data processing
- Ask us to erase your data
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Request a copy of what we hold about you
